Contrast is sometimes what you need. I'm a fan of Luis Barragan and his use of vivid colors. What about an all black bike with a strong color on the tank? Got a soft spot for 70's 911 Tangerine color and the RS green is pretty cool. Maybe go through the Yamaha archives to see if theres any strong 70's colors (apart from the bumblebee) worth picking up.
