Knott

/ Sunday, December 26, 2010 /
During WWII when petrol was hard to come by, especially here in Scandinavia, wood gas (called 'Knott' in Norway) was used instead. This is a 1936 Swedish 98cc Blixt converted with an Ã…sbrink Sperco II Wood Gas generator in 1941. Apparently a complete failure, of a 1000 produced, 500 was scrapped by the factory. This is the only known remaining bike in Norway and this is what is sounds like.
