A sure of spring is that the migrating birds have returned, the Deuville's with their neon-cladded riders are back on the roads and the damage to the roads finally become visible. This is one of the main roads in Oslo.
The first bikes I saw during winter were the occasional mopeds driven with both feet on the ground, then last week when the roads where finally cleared of snow and ice, the Piaggo 3-wheelers appears from the suburbs. This week, the Deuvilles's can suddenly be seen on ring roads during rush hour, while later the grimy ZX-R's and GSX-R's tear through the night. Today the roads have dried up and I spotted the first Sportster and a S1000RR slowly navigating through traffic.
