Form 157, 1997

Analysis of motorcycle design by Peter Neumann in Form Magazine 157, 1997. Don't remember seeing that KTM concept on the last page before.
Makes me shiver
Thank god Aprilia never put this Shiver 1000 into production. From what I can see there seems to be two different designs, one is a cruiser / tourer while the other is a naked bike. Typical mid-90's organic design expression, but here its just out of control. Couldn't find any more info than this.

Philippe Starck. The Moto 6.5 was not a very sucessful design, even though I've seen it several design collections around the world. Its just not street smart. It was designed for an utopian world. A world without oil, petrol, dirty hands, leather and scruffy jeans. This concept based on the Aprilia/Rotax v-twin looks slightly better. Would still take a Tuono any day over this though...
