Continuing on the winter theme, theres a Scandinavian sub-culture devoted to strapping engines to kicksleds. I grew up with kicksleds, very useful in winter. A lot of fun on icy, downhill roads. The last video shows a Swedish rocket-powered kicksled. Does 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds. Madness.

Can't afford the Porsche 212 and want to go uphill as well? The Chrysler Snorunner is the solution. Like a lovechild of a ski, a Vespa Bravo and a chainsaw, it looks like it was designed and put together in a shed. Looks slow, but I guess you could always do some work on the 134cc engine. Found one for sale in Sweden for approx 1200 Euro.
