Berini Jeunesse fairing and headlight. Nice.
Colibri A5
Giorgetto Giugiaro has designed some motorcycles (like the Ducati 860), less known is that he also designed the Tomos Colibri A5.

Eigenbouw Motoren
What's the full story about this bike? Exhibited in the DAF museum in Eindhoven, its made of various Honda parts and with a flat-two DAF 46 engine. And the DAF Variomatic transmission of course.
UR-Monkee
The distinctive style of Wrenchmonkees, black and dark earthy colors, matt or semi-gloss surfaces and no excessive ornamentation has become quite iconic. Looking through old magazines, as you do during a christmas break, I re-discovered the Z750GT from '82. Wouldn't look out of place as an army courier bike except for some fancy gold detailing. The GT looks like the spiritual forefather of the Monkee #20.
Kobra
Whatever happened to the Seymour Powell designed and TDM powered MuZ Kobra which was presented as a prototype in '94? Seymour Powell also designed the Skorpion launched in production form the same year. Too bad it didn't look as good as the prototype. I think Seymour Powell have done more motorcycle designs through the years. I know they designed the Norton F1 and the Commander fairing.
Knott
During WWII when petrol was hard to come by, especially here in Scandinavia, wood gas (called 'Knott' in Norway) was used instead. This is a 1936 Swedish 98cc Blixt converted with an Åsbrink Sperco II Wood Gas generator in 1941. Apparently a complete failure, of a 1000 produced, 500 was scrapped by the factory. This is the only known remaining bike in Norway and this is what is sounds like.
Charbonneaux
Sketch by Philippe Charbonneaux for an updated Facel Vega design. He designed the Renault 8, 16 & 21. I visited his private collection of cars, which is now part of a museum, in Reims, France in the mid 90's when travelling through Europe. Highlight? The Citroen BX 4TC.
Motolima
A conceptual design by Michael Young in collaboration with DuPont / Corian. Corian is solid, synthetic material with very qualitative feel, orginally developed as a material to replace human bones. We looked into using Corian for a consumer product a couple of years ago, but it was too expensive for what we wanted to do. My favorite Michael Young design is my PXR-6 watch. Via Designboom & Arkitip Intel.
#1 : Video
Video: Can't decide between Shinya Kimura (favorite part around 1:10), Arcade Fire (Spike Jonze) and Small Black (Great song.)
#5 : Motorcycle
Motorcycle: Sign O' The Times. Can't decide between the MotoCzsysz E1pc, Brammo Empulse and the Misson R. All American, all electric.
Orange Crush
Fiskars and Laverda. Both are famous for their distinct orange color, but they ended up with orange for completely different reasons. Laverda apparently used the color to make their race bikes visible in difficult weather conditions, while in Finland the orange color was a leftover in the injection moulding machine in the Fiskars factory. They've even registered the color as Fiskars Orange®
#6 : Car
Car: Way too many nondescript cars on the market. I like the Fisker Karma. Its a technological breakthrough and it looks fantastic. Henrik Fisker designed both the AM DB9 and Vantage and the Z8. Is he related to Fisker and Nielsen, the pair behind the Danish Nimbus?
Christmas
This is from a cemetery here in Lund last christmas. A small boy playing Digger on his Gameboy. Heartbreaking.
#9 : Person
Person: Not Julian Assange or Liu Xiaobo but Pål Anders Ullevålseter. Came 2nd in the 2010 Dakar Rally as a privateer.
Frog Design FZ750 prototype
Guess where Frog Design's FZ750 prototype ended up? Apparently in their San Fransisco office, judging by the photo from the Frog Design homepage.

We're putting our house up for sale. This involves taking away any kind of polarizing elements and interior decoration, dirty undies and several boxes of toys before photos are taken. Can't belive its the same house. One of the few traces of who lives in this house can be found on my bedside table: Sideburn #6.

"Barbaflink underviser i teknik och elektricitet" or "Barbabright teaches mechanics and electricity". Is that a Kawasaki H2 Mach IV? Or maybe be a Motobécane 350cc triple since Barbapapa is originally French?
Pelle & Frasse
I pretend I read all these cool magazines, when in reality I spend most of my time reading Children's book. Like this Swedish book by Jan Lööf that my kids like. Based on a Swedish cult TV-show, Tårtan, from the 70's. Here are two of the three brothers who run a bakery in the show.
Bosse's Husqvarna 500
Bosse Granath is a well known Swedish racer. He went GP racing with this factory-backed, two cylinder Husqvarna in the 70's.
